Natural Fiber Doll-Making Class
Learn how to make your own natural fiber doll in a design inspired by Waldorf philosophy around toys for young children. All levels of sewing experience (including no experience) welcome! In addition to gaining hand-sewing, embroidery and needle-felting skills, you will leave this workshop with a completed doll to give to any special child in your life.
The hand-making process and natural materials of these dolls lead to a warm and cuddly doll that will be treasured for years and used for all sorts of open-ended play. You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of colors for all the materials, in order to reflect and support unique identities and personalities. As a bonus, if you attend all the sessions, your special doll will be completed just in time for the holiday gift giving season!
We will be making Star-Babies. While Star-Babies can certainly be dressed in more clothes, they are always wearing their suit and hood!
Please sign-up by November 9th to allow time for the selection and ordering of supplies for your unique doll. Sign-ups after November 9th will not be guaranteed to have their supplies in time for the first day of the workshop.

Time: 4:00 - 6:00pm
Length of Classes: 2 hours/session (1hr of instruction, 1hr of free crafting time, with instructor support)
