3rd Grade Field Trip

Angelic Organics Farm
The third grade traditionally visits Angelic Organics, a bio-dymanic farm that founded and supplies one of the largest and oldest Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs in the mid-western states. As part of their agriculture studies the students will learn about the farm, do chores, tend the animals, work in the fields and participate in preparing some of the field treatments according to biodynamic principles.

The Festivals and their Meanings - The Inner Development Study Group for ALL

The Greek meaning of the word festival is “shinning day”. Steiner shows that the festivals do not only commemorate great historical events, cosmic truths and traditions; they are in themselves spiritual events that manifest in seasonal rhythms, and carry a significance that grows and deepens with the development of human evolution. We study and celebrate these to sustain and renew ourselves. The Friday Study Group is co-created by Hazel Archer Ginsberg, Jean Riordan, Rev. Ann Burfeind of the Christian Community Church and YOU. State of the School Meeting

The State of the School Meeting (also known as the “All School Meeting”) is a bi-annual opportunity for the Chicago Waldorf School Board, Administration and Faculty to share information with the community and dialogue about institutional issues.
