Annual Giving - Empower the School Experience
No independent school can charge the full cost of educating its students without pricing itself out of the market. So like other not-for-profits, we rely on charitable support to fulfill our mission. All gifts to the Chicago Waldorf School are tax-deductible. The Chicago Waldorf School Annual Fund is designed to help bridge the gap between tuition income and actual operating expenses for the school. These funds support teacher's salaries, operational costs, curriculum materials and professional development opportunities for the faculty. A robust Annual Fund allows teachers to enhance their curriculum and enrich the classroom experience.
Give to the Chicago Waldorf School Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is a yearly effort to raise funds that are essential for ensuring the quality of the educational experience for our students.

Give To Our Endowments
An endowment is a fund whose principle is required to stay intact and is invested to create an ongoing source
of income to offset expenses. We are fortunate beneficiaries of three current endowments which have been generously established by members of our community.
Victor and Dinah T. Lazar Endowment Fund:
The Lazar Endowment is designed to strengthen the school's ability to provide scholarship support for students in need, for faculty with children attending the school, and for the siblings of currently enrolled students.
Joe Ruscitti Athletic Endowment Fund:
This special fund has been created to honor Joe Ruscitti’s love of sports and his passion for youth athletics. This endowment supports athletic programming and physical education development for the Chicago Waldorf School.
Elizabeth Lauder Early Endowment Fund:
The Elizabeth Lauder Early Fund is designated to receive gifts and bequests to provide uniforms for the high school women’s basketball team.
Endowments Provide Long Term Support to the School for Specific Needs & for Future Generations
We welcome your support of the school and can assist you in financial and estate planning (even simple tasks are effective, like setting up automatic monthly payments), or work with you to maximize your contributions with corporate matching gift programs.
