Originally from Russia, Margarita has a M.S. in Mathematics (Moscow State University), a M.A. in International Economics and Finance (Brandeis University), and a Waldorf Teaching Certificate (Rudolf Steiner College). Before coming to Chicago Waldorf School, Margarita taught high school math and sciences in Sacramento Waldorf School. Back in Russia she worked in the international finance field for 13 years and also served as a visiting professor in St-Petersburg State University teaching applications of probability theory in financial markets. Her interests include eurythmy, spatial dynamics and clay modeling. Margarita is married and has two daughters both attending CWS. She has been a member of the International Anthroposophic Society since 2005.
