Born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Robert has always excelled at and enjoyed math. Coupling this with his interest in technology and problem solving, he received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign. While there, he studied abroad in France and Argentina for a semester each. After graduation, he realized that engineering as a profession wasn't for him and found education to be where his true passion lies. He has taught at tutoring centers for more than four years, joining us at CWS for a year and converting to full-time faculty in 2010, teaching math in the high school as well as coaching the math team.
