Catherine Herzog

Catherine is a Chicago Waldorf alum who attended CWS from kindergarten through 10^th grade. She received her BA from Kalamazoo College, majoring in English Literature. While at Kalamazoo College she completed a thesis on Women’s Gothic Literature, and received several awards and scholarships for Vocal Performance. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL and returned to Chicago after living in Michigan for five years where she studied and sang with the Bach Festival of Kalamazoo. In her spare time Catherine continues to sing, as well as knit, spend time with her dogs, and volunteer with various women’s organizations. Her passion for education and nonprofit  brought her back to the Chicago Waldorf School as a staff member in 2010.
