7th Grade Student Art & Poetry Journals
Enjoy these beautiful artworks and creative poetry from Chicago Waldorf School students!
These elegant journals feature vibrant "wet on wet" watercolor artworks and colored pencil drawings by students from the 7th grade that demonstrate the "Wish, Wonder, and Suprise" block curriculum in Waldorf Schools. Enjoy the richness of student expression in a variety of poetic forms, and in short story creative writing. The artworks reflect traditional Waldorf block topics, curriculum themes, and projects explored in the 7th grade including illustrations from the Africa block, Single Point Perspective studies, Renaissance and Age of Discovery blocks that integrate with the poetry from the Wish, Wonder & Surprise curriculum that is the foundation for this creative journal.
2014 Waldorf 7th grade Poetry Journals feature original, lush, colorful Waldorf student artworks.
Journals are now selling for $25.00! (or volume discounts of $20.00 each when buying 4 or more)
This journal is a fundraising project by the 7th grade students. Each student submitted his or her own art and creative writing for publication in this anthology. All proceeds from the sale of this journal will go into their class trip fund which helps pay for the student's 8th grade end of year field trip to the Colorado Plateau and "Four Corners" region of the Southwest.
