Out in the World

Education cannot be confined to classroom teaching. Chicago Waldorf School is committed to providing a wide range of experiential learning opportunities and activities that expand each student’s grasp of subject matter, increases observational skills and gives context to what is being learned. The ability to be engaged as a part of the larger world – whether through planting a seed and watching it grow or traveling around the world to be immersed in another culture’s way of life – prepares our students to be productive, capable members of the larger community – global citizens with personal reasons to care about our world and the beautiful diversity of its people as well as the confidence to be active participants in its care.
