After our quiz, we looked at last night's reading on the war in the southern colonies. For tomorrow you are to read the final article (phs 254 - 266) on the Battle of Yorktown, as well as the first-hand story about George Washington's farewell to his troops. I also gave you a quote by Washington from this occasion, which you are to artistically incorporate as the final entry in your block book.
I also gave out study guides for Friday's test. We will go through the study guide tomorrow, so please make note of any of the entries which you don't understand or which need some clarification.
Finally, continue working on your block books for at least one hour each night. Don't put everything off until Thursday night. Remember that block books are due and we will take our block test on Friday.
