Today we learned about the Magna Carta and the Glorious Revolution. Our first day was a great success; thank you for staying engaged and contributing good questions and answers.
For tomorrow you are to artistically create a page, using the words of Thomas Jefferson beginning "We hold these truths..." His famous words should appear on the page (refer to your handout) but feel free to design the page as creatively as you wish. This will be the first entry in your block book.
You are also to read the article entitled "Seeds of Revolution" and write down three significant facts from the reading. Come to class tomorrow prepared to share your facts and questions with the class.
Tomorrow we will review the Magna Carta and Glorious Revolution, and Wednesday we will have a short quiz covering that subject.
Finally, each day when you arrive in class remember to write down the quote of the day, along with any new People, Places and Events and timeline entries.
