Tuesday, December 3, 2013
Bibliographies are due.
Turn in a list of at least three sources, formatted according to MLA style.
Easybib.com will do this for you. Answer as many of their questions as you can and then click on “Create Citation”.
Two important pieces of information to always include are the url (the complete address of the website) and the date you looked at it.
Friday, December 6
Notes are due
Turn in neat notes from at least three sources.
These can be on paper or on index cards. They must be clear and legible.
I will want to assess that you have gathered enough information from a variety of sources to be able to write a detailed factual monologue.
Wednesday, December 11
Written monologues are due.
These can be – in fact they should be – creative and imaginative as you try to identify with your subject and speak in his or her voice. But they must be factual. You cannot invent events.
Friday, December 13 – Thursday, December 19
Presentations. ( Four days. Five presentations per day.)
Aim for five minutes.
Be ready to take a few questions in character at the end.
