Here is what I sent out in August regarding our Parent Teacher evenings.

Dear Parents of the Fifth Grade,
We are approaching the beginning of school and there are a few items to share with you. John and I set parent evenings for:
Wednesday, October 3, 7pm (with Nancy)
Wednesday, January 23, 7pm (with Nancy and John)
Wednesday, April 3, 7pm (with John)
Enclosed is a book list for summer reads. There is still a month left if your child needs the practice or simply wants another good recommendation.
If any new students join the class, I will have a social event for just those new families before we resume. For the rest of you, old hands, I wish you a lovely conclusion to your summer. I look forward to seeing everyone when school starts.
