Thursday, August 1, 2013
During the 5th grade year, the students are beginning to understand and write personal and possessive pronouns, infinitives, definite and indefinite articles, noun capitalization and genders with some plurals. Students are learning and using a vocabulary for family, fruits and vegetables and classroom items. They are writing descriptions of this vocabulary using adjectives and the correct subject-verb agreement. Students are counting and writing from 0-100, asking and answering daily conversation questions as well as reading and discussing a story.
