Change in Block Rotation

Dear Parents,
What a busy winter it has been! Our class play was a masterful success and two weeks later, we ventured out into the ICE (about two inches of it) and snow for a true Norse experience at Camp Edwards. The children were very tired the last few daysbefore the break but they found the strength to celebrate Valentine's Day and create a page for our latest Memory Book on our Class Trip. A few children took their pages home to work on over the break. Please make sure care is taken so the page returns to school without creases or smudges. Proofreading will be necessary on your part...thank you.
With all the events of the winter and my unexpected absence I found it necessary to rearrange our block rotation for the rest of the year. Below is the latest version:
February 4 - March 28 -- Human Being and Animal
April 1 - April 26 --Fractions
April 28 - May 22 -- Local Geography, Illinois and Chicago
May 6 -Parent Evening - This date may change in order to accommodate Ms. Triggiano's schedule
May 23 - June 4 - Review of the year
June 5 -- Move to 5th grade room
June 7 - Last day of school, noon dismissal
