Vocal Ensemble - Course Description

This course is designed for the singer who wishes to move beyond community song. Emphasis will be placed on vocal development, independence in part-singing, stylistic understanding, and performance technique. Repertoire will include madrigals, part songs, secular and sacred classical, and world folk music.
Pre-requisites include: basic understanding of music reading, some prior singing experience, and (for new students) an audition, (for returning students) teacher permission.
