After discussing last night's reading from Candide, the class worked in small groups to create an outline for our upcoming Voltaire biography. You should use the outline we built as a guide when you write your five-paragraph essay. This biography is due this Friday. You are also to read the Rousseau/Voltaire handout I gave you in class and answer the related study questions. This is also due on Friday. For tomorrow, please read chapters 22 - 25 in Candide and, of course, we will have a short quiz on the material tomorrow.
