Many apologies for not posting yesterday; my home computer lost its broadband connection, leaving me high and dry.
Today we began our look at the life and work of Francois Marie Arouet, better known as Voltaire. Your homework assignment for tonight is a short one. Read the first four chapters of Candide and answer the study questions.
Tomorrow we will finish our examination of Voltaire's life. I encourage you to take lots of good notes, because you will be using them when you begin to write your biography this weekend.
