Today we finished looking at Candide before turning our attention to Diderot and the significance of his Encyclopedia. For tomorrow you are to read Common Sense by Thomas Paine and answer the study questions. Your artwork depicting a scene from Candide is due in final form tomorrow as well. I returned your Voltaire biography today. Please make the corrections as indicated and resubmit your revised paper no later that Wednesday.
