GRAPH your Walking Data

RECOPY Rocket Flight Time Data into a neat table, and calculate averages for all rows and columns at Low, Medium and High Power.

GO TO message board, copy Kinematics problem #2 on graph paper, and complete it.

Kinematics Problem #2

A train travels at 100 mph for 45 minutes.

(a) How far has the train travelled in this time? Give your answer in both miles and meters (1609 meters=1 mile

(b) If the train travels at 70 mph for another 45 minutes, what is the train’s average speed (in miles per hour and meters per second)?

(c) What if instead of the situation in (b), train had travelled 70 mph for another 1 and a half hours (after it had travelled 100 mph for 45 minutes): what would be the train's average speed then (in miles per hour)?
