Waldorf In the Home (WITH) is a PTO sponsored, parent support group focusing on topics specific to the early childhood group experience. Today's topic is "Discipline" presented by long-time GS Teacher, and current Development Director, Becky Moskowitz. Often led by knowledgeable members of the Waldorf community, WITH offers a supportive environment where parents gather to learn more about how to bring the principles and techniques used in the Early Childhood classroom into our homes. Anthroposophy, which means “Wisdom of the Human Being,” is a spiritual science built on the research of Rudolf Steiner. Our current conversation explores the riddles of existence, the truth of karma, the mystery of evil, historic connections, and more. Community Yoga for All

Chicago Waldorf School and Phoenix Yoga Project have joined forces to offer a donation-based yoga class to our community. All proceeds go to the Annual Fund. Come join us for an all-levels yoga class that will focus on learning Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breath), and the joy of moving together! Senior Projects Week- Monday 12th thru Friday 16th
Auditorium in Rogers Park Campus

Students teach the community during Senior Projects week! You are warmly invited to attend these public presentations of the seniors’ culminating course of study. Based on academic, cultural, civic and experimental topics of interest chosen by each student, these presentations demonstrate the student's independent research, theory, observation, analysis, and artistic exploration. The projects arise as an area of specialization for the student that has grown out of their studies in the High School.

High School Parent Evening
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Back of the Auditorium & High School classrooms

In the middle of Senior Projects week High School parents meet with the HS grade advisors; first in the back of the auditorium to discuss the Senior Projects exhibition and then the grades break into separate classrooms (12th Grade will be in Painting Studio, 11th in Music Room, 10th in Biology Room, and 9th in English Room) for grade specific discussions. The faculty advisors will review the current work in the block schedule and class curriculum. Both parents and teachers will share observations.
