Summer Camps Begin

CWS- Rogers Park Campus

Today begins the first week of Waldorf Summer Camps. Seven 1-week sessions are offered for Early Childhood, and 1st through 3rd grade children. Also three weeks of Sports Camps are offered for students in grades 6-12. Pick one week, multiple weeks or all summer! EC & Grade School camps offer half-day and full-day camp sessions on weekdays from 8:30am-3:00pm. Sports camps run weekdays from 10am - 2pm. For Early Childhood children and rising 1st graders (3.5 thru 6 years old) | This play-based summer camp involves outdoor activities, nature fables and storytelling, work and playtime in the side-yard playground and other Early Childhood class experiences.

Summer Week 1: GRADE SCHOOL CAMP
June 12, 8:30 am - June 16, 3:00 pm

Available for Grades 1-3 | This Waldorf-focused summer day camp offers arts & crafts activities, age-specific handwork projects, lots of nature activities that will include planned trips to Albion beach, local parks and nature centers and visits to neighborhood museums and cultural institutions. Campers will enjoy daily outdoor play time at the beach, parks or other play areas. Dress in comfortable clothes and bring a lunch. The theme for Week 1: Honeybees

Rising 9th Grade Social Mixer

Welcome to the newest high school students, our Class of 2020! Rising Freshmen (and their families) are invited to meet each other at a social mixer at a High School Faculty member's home before leaving for summer plans. More details will be sent to families in May.

Summer Week 2: SOCCER SPORTS CAMP
June 19, 10:00 am - June 23, 2:00 pm
CWS- Rogers Park Campus

Available for incoming 6th-12th graders | CWS soccer Coach Toto will be running a camp that will focus on fundamentals of ball handling, passing, kicking, offense, defense, conditioning, working in a team environment and strategy with an emphasis on fun! He will be working with players on skill building to develop a good foundation and continue challenging skilled players. His warm approach to leading groups makes this a great team experience.
