Our current conversation explores the riddles of existence, the truth of karma, the mystery of evil, historic connections, and more. Eurythmy Assembly

Parents and friends are invited to attend and see the children perform in this contemplative and rigorous form of pedagogical movement. The assembly showcases the students' accomplishments through Eurythmy by demonstrating their strength of will, ability to collaborate and sense each other while moving in concert, as well as other capacities expressed in the performance.

May Fair
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Outside Street Block Festival- Rogers Park Campus

The public is invited to our open street festival celebrating the arrival of Spring. May Fair activities are varied and range from face-painting and tie-dyeing to child-made crafts and games. There are plenty of table vendors to peruse and delicious food to enjoy. Live performances on the street stage include music, dramatic scenes, singing, and story-telling. At noon the children’s maypole dance is featured as the iconic centerpiece of the fair. This colorful performance follows in a tradition of May festivals that started as early as the sixteenth century.

The Pentathlon- 5th grade class trip
May 16, 8:00 am - May 18, 3:00 pm
Heartland Camp, Wisconsin

Fifth grade students from many regional Waldorf schools come together in the woods of Wisconsin to participate for three days (May 16-18) in physical acts of skill, endurance and beauty as modeled after the classic Greek Pentathlon games. Teams representing various Hellenistic city-states bring the students from different schools together to witness their performances in the areas of long jump, javelin throw, Greek-style wrestling, discus throw, and the track events: sprinting and team baton-passing relay races. Fifth grade parents are invited for one day (Thurs 17th) to witness the students present their best efforts to model truth and beauty in athletics.
