Waldorf in the Home (WITH) Parent Group

WITH is a parent support group focusing on topics specific to the Early Childhood (EC) experience.Led by knowledgeable members of our Waldorf community, WITH offers a supportive environment where parents gather to learn the principles and teachings used in the EC classroom with intent to bring them into their homes to support a calm, nurturing environment. Additional discussions and resource sharing aids parents who face the challenge of parenting in today's fast-paced, technology-driven society. All members of the CWS community are welcome to attend.

An Inclusion and Diversity Symposium

Parents, faculty and staff come together for a look at issues of inclusion at the Chicago Waldorf School. Sponsored by the Inclusion & Diversity Committee (IDC), this event is designed to facilitate a community wide dialogue focusing on all the different aspects of diversity such as race, gender, orientation, and more. If you would like to get involved in the school's diversity mission, please contact Chris Kuck, Co-Chair of the school’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee at ckuck@chicagowaldorf.org. More details about the symposium topics will be announced in March.

The CWS Recycle Drive starts on Monday 10th- bring your old computers, printers, cell phones, batteries and dead electronics to the recycle bins in our Main Entrance hallway. Then on Thursday 13th join the entire first through twelfth grades in the Auditorium at 12:30 pm to celebrate our Spring Festival and then walk to Albion Beach for games and a community project with the whole school.
