Parents of three Early Childhood classes meet with their teachers for review of the classroom experience, the children's progress and class planning. Today's meetings are for Jackie Votanek’s Rose Garden, Susan Bruck's Sweet Pea Garden, and Margaret Koehler's Morning Glory Garden.

The freshmen, newest members of the High School (graduating class of 2022), meet for assessment and placement tests for math and language classes while their parents meet with the Faculty grade advisors for orientation information and social introductions.

Waldorf In the Home (WITH) is a PTO sponsored, parent support group focusing on topics specific to the early childhood group experience. Today's topic is "Screen Free Week: Waldorf & Media" presented by the Screen Free Week organizers. Often led by knowledgeable members of the Waldorf community, WITH offers a supportive environment where parents gather to learn more about how to bring the principles and techniques used in the Early Childhood classroom into our homes. Chicago Waldorf School and Phoenix Yoga Project have joined forces to offer a donation-based yoga class to our community. All proceeds go to the Annual Fund. Come join us for an all-levels yoga class that will focus on learning Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breath), and the joy of moving together! Anthroposophy, which means “Wisdom of the Human Being,” is a spiritual science built on the research of Rudolf Steiner. Our current conversation explores the riddles of existence, the truth of karma, the mystery of evil, historic connections, and more.
