This year’s Spring Festival will be centered around remembering and honoring our current home in Rogers Park. In the late morning, the High School and Grade School "buddy classes" will join together to pick-up trash around the neighborhood. Meanwhile the 7th grade will pack all the collected materials from the Recycling Drive into a van to be recycled at Huron Paper. In the afternoon students and faculty will make their way to the beach to join in poetic, lyrical celebration of the season and say good-bye to a beach many have called “our playground.” To end the day, students in grades 1-8 will remain at the beach for games, while our High School students will walk to Glenwood Avenue to participate in the nationwide rally against gun violence. All parents and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend this rally.
