High School Drama Club Play: Enchanted April
It's1922. Two unhappy housewives dream of escaping dreary, gray London town for the beauty of Italy, in the aftermath of World War I. They are joined by two lonely, upper-class women, disillusioned by society life. But what of the husbands left behind? The writer of scandalous novels and the stuffy lawyer are not to be outplayed by Villa Mezzago’s bohemian landlord. Join us on this opening night for the charming and funny story of how Italian sunshine and wisteria can cure love’s ills. All’Italia! Free admission, donations to Drama Club welcome. Recommended for 4th grade and up.
